Your hosts are Utah natives who have traveled to many parts of the world but love Utah the most because of its great diversity. One has taught Utah history for many years, is an accomplished teacher and loves the out of doors and has assisted in guiding groups in the back-country. Another host was raised outside the U.S. but has spent most of his life in Utah, has owned and operated a video production company and produced many films on Utah's scenic attractions, environment and businesses. He was director of Tourism for Utah's southwest region comprising Capitol Reef National Park, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, and the communities in these areas. He traveled the world educating travel industry professionals on the many assets southern Utah has to offer. He also hosted, travel writers, travel agents and tour professional on 25+ (multi-day) familiarization tours of the region. He later operated an inbound tour company hosting corporate and high-end travel groups from around the the world on trips to Utah. Most notably he hosted the Brain and Blind Research Foundations of Ireland (70 participants) on an 11-day tour of Utah in which the group hiked 70 miles through National Parks, camped twice in remote locations where they were educated on the history, geology, topography and biology of the region. Famous individuals and media representatives from Ireland accompanied the group. In recent years he has been a director of sales and marketing for Utah's premiere Internet marketing company and has worked closely with 60+ lodging properties, 20 guides and outfitters and other companies. In this position, he has consulted with clients on how to successfully reach and accommodate travelers to southern Utah. He has taken thousands of photographs of the region (visible on www.utahpictures.net) and researched and written hundreds of pages of information about the southern Utah region. He is recognized as one of the more knowledgeable individuals on southern Utah. A third host is an outdoors enthusiast and has spent the past 20 years in the Utah outdoors, hiking, fishing and accommodating youth and other groups. Testimonials: |
